I am a Registered Social Service Worker with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals, youth, and families through mental health challenges, crisis situations, grief, trauma, and life transitions. My approach is compassionate, client-centered, and strengths-based, drawing from evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Throughout my career, I have worked in community mental health, crisis intervention, school-based counselling, and mobile crisis response, collaborating alongside healthcare professionals, educators, and law enforcement partners to support individuals during some of life’s most challenging moments.

I have a particular interest and skill set with helping individuals navigate grief and loss. Grief can arise from many experiences, including the death of a loved one, separation or divorce, intergenerational loss, loss of opportunity, life-altering diagnoses, or the anticipatory grief that often accompanies terminal illness. Together, we can create space to process these transitions and find a path forward that honours both your loss and your resilience.

I am also passionate about supporting first responders and helping them work through the impacts of witnessed trauma, occupational stress, and the unique challenges that come with serving others. In addition, I work with clients seeking support with emotional regulation, stress management, anxiety, and building healthier coping strategies.

My goal is to help clients develop resilience, strengthen their existing abilities, and create meaningful change while fostering healing, self-understanding, and personal growth. I believe that every person has the capacity for growth and healing when provided with the right support and a safe, non-judgmental space to explore their experiences.
